Cunard Line cruises direct from the UK
Cunard launched the world's first transatlantic passenger sailings in 1840 and the line builds on this fine history with its current fleet of premium ocean liners.
Queen Mary 2 was built to maintain Cunard's regular scheduled transatlantic service, and like the other Cunard liners, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria, also offers cruises from the UK. Ships have three classes of passenger accommodation - Britannia class passengers enjoy spacious staterooms whilst the Grill classes – Queen's and Princess Grill – benefit from superior suites.
Dining on Cunard ships
Cunard Ships have three full service formal, fine dining restaurants offering high-quality cuisine. The Queen’s Grill restaurant offers pre-dinner canapés and an extensive choice of traditional and regional specialities. Choose a Princess Suite and dine at the Princess Grill. Other passengers dine in the three-tier Britannia restaurant, choosing either early or late sitting. Each ship offers alternative dining options.
The ships have an impressive ballroom and carry a number of bands to provide live music for dancing or listening. Three formal evenings per week are the norm, with some semi-formal or elegant events dependent on the occasion or cruise schedule. Colourful main production shows add to the onboard entertainment.
Cunard cruise destinations from the UK
Queen Mary 2 continues its regular Atlantic crossings between Southampton and New York. QM2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth offer a selection of cruises from the UK to the Med, Norway, Canaries and the Baltic plus the famed Cunard round the world cruises.
