Azamara Info
Ships
An Azamara cruise from the UK is not just about the destinations, but also the stylish, luxury ships. There is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere on board 686-passenger Azamara Quest, 694-passenger Azamara Journey and 777-passenger Azamara Pursuit. Ships draw their inspiration from the four elements of nature – earth, water, air and fire.
Cabins feature modern amenities and furnishings, with a large number of cabins and suites having balconies. All guests can enjoy selected complimentary drinks, gratuities and a shuttle service to and from most ports. Balcony cabins and Suites include additional amenities including a laundry service and complimentary Internet.
There is a fantastic choice of dining venues including some speciality restaurants, as well as an array of entertainment. There is a taste of Broadway, signature shows and guest performers to make each cruise memorable. Cabaret performances can be enjoyed at ’54 Below at Sea’, and cruises from the UK often include White Night parties, evenings of fine dining and dancing under the stars.
Dining
Dining on board Azamara’s ships is an immersive experience, with regional flavours incorporated into the menus. The dress code is always ‘resort casual’ although guests do enjoy dressing up in the speciality restaurants.
There is a choice of six distinctive dining options, including room service. The elegant Discoveries Restaurant is a firm favourite with guests, with nightly selections including filet mignon with black truffle sauce. For a casual dining experience, there is the al fresco Patio, and the Windows Café with daily themed dinners taking inspiration from the region visited. There is an extra live station made from ingredients purchased in port, for example Greek salad made with local feta, and pasta prepared with local Italian mushrooms. For those just wanting a coffee and a snack, the Mosaic Café is the perfect venue.
Speciality restaurants allow guests to dine in luxury and elegance. These fine dining experiences are accompanied by a senior officer or speciality guest. Aqualina serves some of Italy’s most authentic dishes, while Prime C cooks steaks to perfection.
